Troop 483 was founded on May 24th, 1948. The original charter was The Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Church. The Unit started with 10 youth and 5 adults the first Scoutmaster was Ray Barwick.

1949-1950 : Scoutmaster Ray Barwick

1951-1953 : Scoutmaster Fred Mueller - 17 youth and 7 adults

1954 : Scoutmaster Joseph Boyer

1955-1967 - Scoutmaster William Repp - 51 youth and 14 adults

Charter Name Change to Interested Men of St. Joseph Catholic Church

1970-1972 : Scoutmaster Ronald F. Unger 44 youth and 14 adults

Sponsor name change to St. Joseph Farmington

1973 : Scoutmaster Michael Davis - 29 youth and 12 adults

1974 : Scoutmaster Tom Freeman - 18 youth

1975 : Scoutmaster Arthur Meyer 10 youth and 17 adults

1976-1977 : Scoutmaster Leonard Boyer - 27 youth and 10 adults

1986-1995 : Scoutmaster Don Watson

In 1988 - 34 youth and 11 adults

Troop 483 was dropped from 1996 until 2007

2007 : Unit was restarted with a Sponsor of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington, Scoutmaster Peter W. Zinecker. 6 youth and 8 adults.

2009-2010 : Scoutmaster Dennis Weems - 17 youth and 10 adults

2011 : Scoutmaster Gregory Rudroff 25 youth and 20 adults

2012 : Troop 483 Dropped for one year

2013 : Scoutmaster Melissa Moulton - 9 youth and 10 adults.

2013 : New Charter St. Paul Lutheran Church

2014-2017 : Scoutmaster James Day - 22 youth 16 adults

2016-2017 : New Charter Odd Fellows (IOOF) Lodge #48 of Farmington, MO

2018-2020 : Scoutmaster Daniel Judd 15 youth and 10 adults

New Charter as of 2018 was VFW Post #5896

New Charter as of 2021 is the United Memorial Methodist Church of Farmington, MO

2020-Present : Cynthia Pikey
